What’s this all about?

My name is Mike and I’m a young professional living in a zone 2A city on the Canadian prairies.  When I originally bought my smaller, older home I had grand visions of Eden-esque gardens and a stylish modern, green place to live.  Over the past few months I’ve made a few changes and the plot is becoming my own.  I want to document my progress and hopefully share my successes on the road to achieving my dream.
